I am an incoming Ph.D. Computer Science student starting this fall at Arizona State University and will be advised by Prof. Siddharth Srivastava at the Autonomous Agents and Intelligent Robots (AAIR) Lab. I am currently a Research Intern at the Navy Center for Applied Research in Artificial Intelligence (NCARAI) at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, where I am being advised by Dr. David Porfirio. In my free time, I collaborate with Dr. Snehesh Shrestha from the University of Maryland (UMD) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on human-robot interaction research.
I received my B.S. in Computer Science and minor in Geographic Information Science from UMD in the Fall of 2023 (go terps! 🐢). During my undergrad, I participated in the Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) at NRL as a Research and Development Intern under the mentorship of Dr. “Mak” Roberts, where I spearheaded efforts to automate logistics planning for military operations. At UMD, I assisted with research labs across disciplines, including but not limited to human-computer interaction, network security, and civil and environmental engineering. These experiences have allowed me to apply my diverse skillsets to my research and collaborations.
Broadly, I am interested in artificial intelligence, planning, robotics, and human-robot interaction research. I aim to develop algorithms that make robots more intelligent, thereby augmenting human decision-making during human-robot collaborations and improving trust in robots.
